This highly desirable 250 SL with automatic gearbox is in superb condition throughout as you would expect from a car which has had a complete body restoration. To begin with, the body has been completely sand-blasted then a process added to prevent any future corrosion. The body has then been painted in the correct and original factory colour. The floor-pans and sills were replaced and the boot area renovated. A new windscreen has been fitted and 70% of the rubber seals are new. The hard-top is in excellent condition and the soft-top is brand new. All chromework has been re-chromed and the electrical system cleaned and partially replaced by new parts. New shock absorbers and suspension parts have been fitted and the braking system has been overhauled using many new parts.
