This original, rust free, righthand drive Mercedes-Benz 220 S Fintail saloon was originally supplied new to South Africa, recently imported to the UK the car was taken to the Mercedes-Benz specialists SS Motors in Weybridge where it was checked through and recommissioned. It has now arrived on our shores and we are very happy to offer it for sale. Finished in cream with a red interior it has the desirable column shift with manual gearbox, although not concourse it really is a very nice and intact example which would make an excellent entry level car for anyone entering the field of classic Mercedes. The after market rear sun blind is a nice touch and works well with the car. A great opportunity to purchase a piece of Mercedes-Benz history that is not only very useable but offers style, grace, comfort and reliability. We have left the undercarriage untouched so any perspective buyer can see how good and solid it really is. Coming from a dry climate we would however recommend that the undercarriage be undersealed to protect the originality and integrity of this car.
